Then admire the immense precious interior of the Dome entirely frescoed by Vasari.

Important to know

Not allowed:

  • Access to the Cathedral requires suitable clothing: shorts, bare shoulders, sandals, hats and sunglasses are not allowed

Know in advance:

  • During periods of increased visitor inflow, admission to the museums may be subject to delays due to security reasons. Any possible delay cannot be attributed to the tour operator
  • Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to departure
  • In case of delay it will not be possible to join the visit, nor to have a refund or reschedule the guided visit
  • At the cathedral, before the visit, and after receiving the entrance ticket, it is mandatory to deposit the following types of bags at the cloakroom: Backpacks of any bulk or size and any bag designed to be worn on the back; bags, suitcases, parcels, bags and containers in general that exceed the dimensions of 35cm x 30cm x 15cm, and any object deemed questionable by staff which may constitute a danger to other visitors or to the integrity and safety of the structure
  • Baggage retrieval must take place at the end of the visit according to the scheduled time. In any case, the duration of the deposit cannot exceed the closing time of the cloakroom
  • Reccomended to wear comfortable shoes
