What to expect

Your full-day excursion begins with a comfortable air-conditioned coach ride along the Highway of the Sun heading from Rome to the Mediterranean coast. You’ll cross the fertile Roman countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani, which is dotted with picturesque medieval villages.

After arriving in Naples, board a speedboat for the 45-minute crossing to Marina Grande, the port of Capri. Once reach the island, you can decide to visit and enjoy only the island, or by paying locally to the guide the Optional Blue Grotto, taking another motorboat to see the famous Blue Grotto (from April to October and if the weather and sea conditions allow it) and experience the impressive views from Anacapri. Admire the natural beauty of the Blue Grotto. Sunlight passes through an underwater cavity and shines through the water, creating a stunning blue reflection that illuminates the cavern. Head to Anacapri, a scenic spot on Capri that features lovely views of the Bay of Naples. This is followed by a visit to a typical local restaurant for lunch. Then, free time to explore Capri at your leisure in the afternoon. On returning to Naples, enjoy splendid views from the port of the 12th-century Castel Nuovo and the Royal Palace.
