What to expect

Experience the beauty of Florence, the capital city of Tuscany and the birthplace of Renaissance, in less than two hours by high-speed train from Rome.

You'll be picked up directly from your hotel in Rome and then meet with your tour leader at the Roma Termini railway station to be checked in and board the train. Upon arrival in Florence, a local guide will meet you in Piazza del Duomo and take you on a walking tour of the city, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria. You'll then be provided with skip-the-line access to the famous Uffizi Gallery, where you'll be able to admire the masterpieces of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael, and more, as your local guide unveils the secrets and stories behind these priceless works of art.

At the end of the visit, you'll have plenty of free time to explore the city at your leisure and enjoy lunch or a snack (not included in the price) at a nice restaurant or bar. Finally, you'll meet at a designated time and head to the train station to travel back to Rome in the late afternoon. Infants (age 0-2) can join for free, but please note that they won't have their own seat on the train

Please also provide the local tour operator with the age of all participants at least 24 hours before your activity starts
You'll depart from Rome around 7.30am and you'll then leave Florence around 6.30pm (the train schedule may change)
