You'll visit the Kuan Yin Temple dedicated to the goddess of mercy Kuan Yin. This small unpretentious, well-maintained temple has an air of serene divinity about it that is hard to describe and can only be experienced. Proceed to Sri Maha Mariamman temple, which has some fascinating designs and architecture. Next, discover an architectural masterpiece of Penang, St. George's Church. This colonial-style church was registered as National Heritage in 2007.

The walking tour will not be complete without a visit to the ancient Penang Peranakan Mansion. You can soak up the "Baba Nyonya" culture and the beautiful architecture here. Come and learn about the superb UNESCO heritage building.
