Whizz up to the 124th floor – the elevator travels at a mind-boggling speed of 10 metres per second – and step out onto the observation deck. Feast your eyes on the iconic Dubai skyline featuring stellar landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Towers, Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina. Marvel at the surrounding desert dunes and the glistening Arabian Gulf on the horizon and look straight down for views of the Burj Lake and traditional Abras gliding around.

Take one last peek before heading back down for afternoon tea. You’ll meet your guide back at the bottom who’ll take you to the Al Bayt restaurant located in The Palace Downtown, a luxury hotel. Embrace the authentic Arabian atmosphere and elegant decor as you indulge in a selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes – a sweet way to finish the tour. Choose from Arabic tea or coffee and soak up views of the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa from a different perspective.
