Your culinary experience will begin with a short walk in the center of La Spezia and with a visit to its lively market: you will admire the fishmongers with their fresh fish and the merchants with their seasonal vegetables, you will find juicy tomatoes, green asparagus, mushrooms or artichokes. With your chef, you'll buy the fresh ingredients you'll need to prepare your menu.
Then you'll continue to the tavern where you'll find the course kitchen. You will learn how to cook delicious traditional Ligurian fish dishes. The chef also wants to convey the concept of Slow Food: to prepare traditional dishes using as many fresh, local ingredients as possible and with the lowest possible environmental impact.
