What to expect
This tour shines the spotlight on two jewels on Lake Maggiore's crown. On an exclusively-chartered boat cruise, you'll spend time on both Isola Bella and Isola dei Pescatori, before enjoying some free time in Stresa.
You'll head out to Isola Bella first. The islet was completely transformed from a desolate rocky islet in the middle of the lake to a blossoming garden crowned by a baroque palace. Many famous footsteps have graced its shores, from royalty to notable players from the history books. You'll have time here to take in the views from the tiered gardens and walk among its ornate statues.
Then, it's on to tiny Isola dei Pescatori – barely 500m long by 100m wide. As the only island that's inhabited year-round, you'll be able to wander among its tiered, narrow alleys lined with plant-bedecked houses. To end the tour, you'll enjoy some free time in Stresa, before your return to Lake Como.
