Visit top sights like the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, explore the Parco Civico, or hit the shops in the streets around Via Nassa. For the second part of your day, you'll head back to Como, an elegant town packed with churches, parks and palaces. Piazza Cavour is a grand square overlooking the lake, a short walk from many of the major highlights such as the Cathedral with its fine interior, the Villa Olmo and the lakeside gardens.

After a quick coffee stop and a look around this lakeside town, it's on to Poschiavo where we'll board the Bernina train.
